In a battle to compete with Iphones, LG has launched P970 Optimus Black, a big, bright, black, skinny giant with  4″ slab, 480×800 pixels but only 233 pixels per inch, lower price point Android phone. Eliminating the need to search and install apps as all the apps comes stored in the phone with all the usual connectivity like Bluetooth, HSDPA, and the standard WiFi hotspot function specially designed for people who consume a lot of mobile media, or browse a lot. The Optimus P970 also has the “Gesture” technology, with the dedicated “G” button on the side to make the phone do stuff. Seems a nice phone when compared to its price but the ball is in your court.
